Pediatric Feeding Therapy
What is Pediatric Feeding Therapy?
Perceived picky eaters or poor feeders can make mealtimes a challenging experience for families. We work directly with families to promote adventurous eaters with the skills to manipulate and tolerate sensory challenges throughout a meal. Feeding therapy can be the solution that gets mealtimes on the right path. Our feeding therapists are here to help your child reach these vital milestones. Through individualized, play-based strategies, we address a variety of feeding concerns, including texture aversions, gagging, or difficulty with self-feeding. We focus on creating a positive mealtime environment where children feel comfortable exploring new foods at their own pace. By incorporating sensory integration techniques, we help children build confidence and develop the oral-motor skills necessary for eating a wide range of foods. Our goal is to support healthy, balanced nutrition and transform mealtimes into enjoyable experiences for the entire family.
